Join our Salt Sisters in Whangamata and learn the basics of freediving in one day!
This course is an awesome foundational experience that will set you up for your freediving journey which ever way that may take you. Learn the basics in the most supportive and nourishing environment together with your new salty sisters!
This is a pool-based course :)
Deets:
Date: Saturday June 14th 2025
Time: 8am-3pm-ish
Location: Whangamata pool (112 Achilles Avenue, Whangamatā 3620)
Gear you need to bring: Wetsuit, mask + snorkel, fins, weight + weightbelt
Please also bring water and kai!
Non-negotiables:
- You must be 16 years old +
- You must identify as wāhine/a woman
- You must be able to complete and sign this medical form: MEDICAL CLEARANCE FORM

- You must be a confident swimmer, but do not need any previous freediving experience
- You must complete the online theory prior to the course (we will send this to you)
- Your payment is non-refundable unless we can replace your spot, or we have to cancel due to weather.
