Already a freediver but want to get certified? Still new to freediving and want to improve your technique? Been freediving for yonks but need to unlearn bad habits or be supported to safely get deeper? Come get SSI certified with Salt Aotearoa and enjoy the camp vibes and our wāhine tribe!
We are so stoked to finally be bringing this trademark camp back home, to host you in Whitianga and out on the moana around Ahuahu/Great Merucry and the surrounding islands. This place is truely special to us and we couldn't be more proud or excited to welcome you to the place we get to call home.
IMPORTANT: Prerequisite (this is a non-negotiable so make sure it's signed off before paying):
- Completed and signed medical form and consent form. Read and sign these carefully before paying your 50% non-refundable deposit.

Non- negotiable prerequisites:
- Age 18+
- Identify as wāhine/ a woman
- Completed and signed medical and consent form

What YOU need to bring:
- Your personal dive gear: weights, weight-belt, long fins, freedive wetsuit, dive socks and gloves are advised to keep you warm.
- Your own extra snacks or fave drinks
- Water bottle
- Transport too and from Whitianga. We will take care of you from there
