Who are the Huntress Experiences for?
These experiences are designed for wāhine aged 18+ who want to explore the hunting and gathering side of the ocean. They’re ideal for women with some freedive experience looking to learn sustainable spearfishing and kaimoana practices.
Do I need to be an experienced freediver?
You don’t need to be a pro, but a basic understanding of freediving helps you get the most out of the day. If you’re unsure whether you’re ready, just email us, we’d be happy to help you find the right experience.
I’ve never used a speargun before, can I still join?
Absolutely. Our instructors will guide you step-by-step through loading, aiming, and shooting safely. You’ll practise in a controlled environment before heading into the water.
